I went to see the movie "lambs for lions" yesterday. I quite liked it, it's well written and the actors do a great job ... I'm just not sure about the message of the movie. Oh well, it's probably "war is bad" or "the politicians care more about heir pride than about the infantry soldiers" for most. But that's not really, what sticked with me. I went out of the cinema with a big "!" imprinted to my brain. Usually this punctuation mark is preceded by some kind of sentence, like "Stop hitting yourself!". This sentence is missing here, all that stays is the "!". Maybe it's even a "!!"; but there is no concrete imperative ... And may be the biggest strength of the movie. Most movies that contain any type of "you should xxx!"-messages suck. I don't appreciate movies telling me what to do (especially if it's some kind of cheesy socialistic crap). So, this might be the first movie whose message actually works: "Get active! Do something! What? I don't know, think for yourself!". And so you do: You feel urged to do something - and if possible even "the right thing" what causes you to do a little thinking. So, in short, this movie is somewhat extraordinary!
In addition, I learned to understand the American way of thinking a little better (at least part of it) and was greatly entertained.
Pitty, most people won't like it, I'm afraid. Or not. Screw them.

I shouldn't have baught that "Hellagte: London"! This game is highly addictive, like Diablo II was. But, as you play (as you have one little fix more) you do not really have fun - it's all like religion: "If I do that level than I'll have that gun, so I'll be the total super-hero-über-freak in the next levels" (which are harder, so you're not). You ask, why that's similar to religion? Well, you work hard and do what you're told in this world to have fun in the next. And (but that's only my opinion) you are the one fucked in the end.
Oh well, so much for ranting, I have to play a little!
I just need two more parts of rare trash to build that new mod which will totally power up my gun so ...

Oh, I forgot to tell: We went to a demo against plans of building the Transrapid train in Munich on Saturday. There are various reasons why I am against that otherwise wickedly cool train, but I won't explicate it here. Well, here is the story of that demo in a nutshell:

I know, it has been several months since I went for the flat-hunt, but I just got to throw away all the
paper-stuff regarding this hunt. It's quite a bunch! See for yourself:
... I'm bored, the Hellgate:London Demo was way too short ...

The party went smoothly and I think everyone had a good time. Thanks again to all you guys for coming, you rock! I took some pictures, but I'm afraid I can't show them here without embarassing some people. Ok, me. So, what you get is our guests art on our chalkboard:
Even if we didn't even get close to gulping all that booze (after all, there came some extra bottles as fluid company from our guests), I'm still a little shaky on my legs and I haven't tried solid food yet. A good evening :D

This "makro"-function of my camera is nice ;) Guess, what it is - or don't, would be too easy anyways.
In other news. The big christening of the new apartment is tomorrow and the booooze is already here :D
There are going to be headaches. And vomit everywhere. Especially, if you consider the beer- and wine-supplies not included in the picture.

In today's PicBlog (I bet that term isn't even new 0.o) ... *traraa* ... Munich, covered in fog!
I'm afraid, the amount of original motives that can be photographed without leaving my desk are limited. Expect repetitions soon!
